Michelle Cannon Smith is a photographer, stylist, and creative based in Atlanta, Georgia. With a longtime love of beautiful homes, gardens, gatherings and the details that make them memorable.

Her work has appeared in Martha Stewart, Southern Living, Better Homes & Gardens, Country Living, HGTV Magazine and other national publications, with projects spanning photography, styling, editorial storytelling and collaborations with established home and lifestyle brands.

Over the years, Michelle’s work has naturally expanded beyond the camera. She works with designers and creative clients to style interiors and spaces for photography, editorial and brand projects, bringing a collected eye and an appreciation for rooms that feel both beautiful and lived in.

That same point of view carries into Michelle Cannon Smith, a place devoted to home, garden, table, and living beautifully through the seasons. Through the Journal, Michelle shares what is inspiring her now… from interiors and gardens to recipes, travel, and the small seasonal details worth noticing.

Each year, that world also comes to life through Michelle’s Holiday Shop & Workshops, a highly curated collection of ornaments, tabletop, paper, candles, garden-inspired finds, and gifts chosen to bring a little more magic to the season.

Whether behind the camera, styling a room, working alongside a designer or curating the Holiday Shop, Michelle’s approach remains much the same: a thoughtful mix of the beautiful, the useful, and the unexpected—with a sense of place, season, and a little bit of whimsy.
